The Saga of the Fallen Panties

Sunday is my laundry day! Irrespective of Maltese weather, even in summer black still remains the predominant colour in my summer wardrobe. Colours and whites separate – but I always have a black load!

Anyway I was doing my black load last Sunday and as I was hanging out my laundry it happened. I live in a flat and I have a tiny balcony and I have to hang out my laundry on my extendable horse, which extends outwards over the edge of my balcony over my neighbour’s yard. And yes, of all things to bloody fall, it had to be my lace knickers!

Knowing my neighbour this was a bloody nightmare.. first of all he is young (and male), second of all most days his father works in his yard! So in desperation to cover them up I drenched a towel and tried to throw it over my knickers in his yard. No – I didn’t consider the wind. So now fully exposed in my neighbour’s yard – my knickers and my towel. Brilliant!

So, I wrote an apologetic note and slipped it under his door and place a bag under the common area stairs.

AND GUESS what?

Today I got my panties and my towel back! No notes, but then I’m not Lady Chatterley; I only wanted my bloody panties back. Hopefully wont see my neighbour in a while though!

Update – This post was so popular when I first wrote it I’m just going to give you a link to the brand of my panties that fell. Be aware they’re not wind proof.
